Begun in 1974 as part of Harding’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, Spring Sing combines musical numbers, choreography, and comedy with some friendly club competition.

Committee chairs Kathy McKinney and Jerry Palmer wrote in the 1974 program, “We take great pleasure in joining in the celebration and adding a token of our appreciation…that we pray will be remembered and will be allowed to grow with the beloved institution it is a part of.”

Spring Sing club shows have grown from small groups standing on risers in the Administration Auditorium to highly choreographed, multi-media musical adventures performed for thousands in the Benson Auditorium.
